Our Story
Hello and welcome to Top of the Valley Pet Resort! We know that choosing a facility for your dog to stay while you enjoy time away can be a difficult choice, but look no further. Here at Top of the Valley Pet Resort, we aim to create a calming and comfortable environment for your dogs. With over 25 years of experience in canine showing, grooming, training, and so much more, you can relax knowing that your pet is in amazing hands.
Top of the Valley Pet Resort was founded in 2023. We started as Wyoming Golden Retrievers in 1998, a reputable Golden Retriever breeding program that built its foundation on maintaining the perfect temperament, reducing the prevalence of cancer, as well as other common health issues in the breed.
Expanding the business to include all breed boarding, training, grooming and daycare was a dream of our family and had been in the works for the last 8 years! It is important to us that our kennel reflects a home environment. We do not want a kennel full of barking, cooped up dogs, rather, relaxed dogs that get one on one care from our employees. Having a smaller facility, with only 20 overnight kennels, allows us to meet the individual needs for every dog that comes through our doors.
